Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cubes (1 cup) butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- shortening to grease pan
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Utensils
- 8 to 9 inch square baking pan
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of the pan with
shortening.
Melt butter over low heat. Mix cocoa and sugar together, then stir in
the melted butter. Add eggs and vanilla, and stir. Add flour and salt,
mix until smooth. Scrape mixture out into the greased pan and spread
into pan.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees until brownies begin to pull away from
the sides (40 to 50 min). Take the pan out of the oven, and let cool.
