Romance Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. flour
2/3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

Cream butter, flour, sugar, salt, and spread in bottom of 15 inch by 10 inch pan. Bake for 10 min at 350 degrees.

Beat eggs and add brown sugar and baking powder, flour, vanilla, fold in coconut and walnuts. Spread over cooked layer and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees until golden brown and firm on the top. Remove from the pan, cool, and dust with confectioner's sugar. Cut into squares.
